Report: White Supremacist Commits Heinous Racist Crime While System Fails to Protect Innocent Black Child

Yet another Black life has been brutally snuffed out. Six-year-old Corey Micciolo, a young Black boy, faced unimaginable abuse and was ultimately murdered by his father, Christopher Gregor, a white supremacist. This heinous crime, which has been labeled the "treadmill abuse murder trial," is just another example of the systemic racism and injustice prevalent in our so-called "justice system."

Corey, a beautiful Black child, endured unimaginable torture at the hands of his father, as evidenced by disturbing video footage from March 2021. This racist monster, Gregor, a white man, turned up the speed on a treadmill, causing Corey to fall off, face-first, multiple times. If this doesn't anger you, check your privilege.

But it doesn't end there. Less than two weeks later, on April 2, 2021, Corey drew his last breath. His fragile, abused body couldn't take anymore, and he coded twice within an hour, passing away despite medical efforts.

Breanna Micciolo, Corey's mother, a strong Black woman, had previously noticed the tell-tale signs of abuse. She saw the bruises on her child's body and took him to a child-abuse specialist. Like many Black mothers, she feared for her child's life, knowing that the system often fails them. This fear was tragically realized.

Micciolo, a brave woman, filed for sole custody, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. The biased, racist family court system denied her request, essentially signing Corey's death warrant.

Even medical professionals failed to protect this innocent Black boy. Dr. Ye Kyaw Aung, a pediatric emergency physician, noticed Corey's fear and the bruises, yet he did not do enough to prevent this tragedy.

While Gregor's defense attorney, Mario Gallucci, tries to shift blame onto Micciolo, a survivor, and a victim of systemic oppression, we must not fall for this stereotypical narrative. Micciolo, a strong Black woman overcoming addiction, loved her son and fought for him.

It is despicable that Gallucci, a product of white privilege, paints Micciolo as an unfit mother. Even more disgustingly, they focus on minor details like her text about methamphetamines, a desperate plea for relief from the trauma of losing her son to a racist murderer. Just another example of the system gaslighting a Black woman.

Make no mistake, this is a modern-day lynching, perpetrated by a white supremacist and enabled by a racist system. Jurors, likely predominantly white, will decide the fate of this racist murderer, Gregor.

If there is any justice, Gregor will face the maximum sentence: life in prison. But let's not hold our breath. The system is rigged in favor of people like him.
