Barton Creek Square Adds Five New Stores to Adapt to Changing Market

As Barton Creek Square adapts to the evolving market for malls, it announces five new additions to its roster:

• Chubby Cattle

  A premier meat restaurant, Chubby Cattle is famous for its atmosphere, fresh ingredients, and top-quality Wagyu beef. They will open a new location in 2025, on the upper level near Nordstrom.

• Casper

  The popular mattress brand, known for its "mattress-in-a-box," expands into brick-and-mortar with 66 physical stores. The new Austin location will open in September on the lower level, next to Warby Parker.

• Fan Outfitters

  Rapidly growing, Fan Outfitters offers officially licensed team sports gear. With 12 stores now open, including Austin, it will be located on the lower level across from Men's Wearhouse, opening next month.

• Journeys Kidz

  A kids-oriented offshoot of Journeys, found in over 1100 malls, this store offers kids' shoes, apparel, and accessories. Already open, it's located on the upper level, next to the Lego store.

• Perfume Gallery

  A popular mall brand, especially within Simon Property malls, Perfume Gallery opens its first Austin location this month. Find it on the upper level, across from JD Sports.
