Texas Voter Registration: Avoid Mail, Register In Person.

24+ Travis County sites accept voter registration Monday for Nov. 5 election.

Voter Registration Deadline Approaching: Events and Details

Monday is the last day to register to vote in the 2023 presidential election.

Check your registration status and update your information:

Hand-deliver your application to avoid delays:

  • Due to USPS delays, hand-delivering your application is recommended.
  • Travis County volunteer deputy registrars will be available at multiple locations Monday.

Travis County Voter Registrar Bruce Elfant:

  • "If you’re going to register at the last minute, give it to a (volunteer deputy registrar), don’t mail it in... I wouldn’t mail it in within two or three days of the deadline."
  • "Every big cycle, we have 1,500 or 2,000 people who probably mailed it before midnight" on deadline day but didn’t get the postmark proving it.

  • Main location: 2433 Ridgepoint Dr.

8 a.m. Monday to midnight:

  • Travis County government office, 5501 Airport Blvd. (League of Women Voters volunteers for multiple counties)

  • Noon to 3 p.m. at Georgetown Public Library, 402 W 8th St, Georgetown
  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Temple College Workforce Preview Day, 516 N Main St., Taylor
  • 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Half Price Books, 13492 U.S. 183, Austin
  • 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Half Price Books, 1335 E Whitestone Blvd., Cedar Park
