ACL Fest Returns with Heat, Big Names, and New Features

Oct. 11-13: ACL Fest is back for weekend two at Zilker Park, 2100 Barton Springs Road. Gates open at noon on Fridays and 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Music starts at 12:55 p.m. Fridays, and noon on each Saturday and Sunday.

Must-Knows

• Weather: It's hot. Pack a reusable water bottle, sunscreen (non-aerosol), band-aids, and toilet paper.
• Tickets: Only premium tickets remain on the ACL Fest website. Resale options available on Ticketmaster.
• Lineup: blink-182, Chris Stapleton, Dua Lipa, Khruangbin, and more. Full lineup at ACL Fest website.

Getting There

• Rideshares: Use "Austin City Limits Music Festival" or "Zilker Park" as your destination.
• Driving: Limited parking. Reserve a spot through LAZ Parking, 360 Transportation, or Austin High School.
• Bikes & Scooters: Lock up at Stratford Drive or Toomey Road at Sterzing Street. MetroBike drop-off at Barton Springs Road and Sterzing Street.
• Bus: Complimentary shuttles from Republic Square. Capital Metro’s 803 MetroRapid bus available.
• Walking: Use the Ann and Roy Butler Trail.

Festival Grounds

• Entrances: West and East entrances on Barton Springs Road, Lady Bird entrance at Stratford Drive.
• Re-entry: Allowed two more times after first entry. Must scan badge out and go through security again.

What to Bring

• Bags: Clear bags only if larger than 6x9 inches. Small purses and fanny packs do not need to be clear.
• Allowed items: Sunscreen, baby strollers, blankets, towels, Narcan kit, personal-use cameras, chairs in designated areas.
• Prohibited items: Coolers, hammocks, glass containers, outside food and drink, umbrellas, tents, fireworks, weapons. Full list at ACL Fest support.

Food & Drinks

• Food: Over 70 vendors. New features include Bambino pizzas at the Big Tent and La Pachanga Eatery by Taco Mafia.
• Drinks: Canned beer, cocktails, rum drinks at Barton Beach Club and Tiki Bar, tequila at El Patioville.
• Desserts: ACL Sweets near T-Mobile Stage and Austin Kiddie Limits. New selections include CVT Soft Serve, Dulce Amor Mio, and Gelato Paradiso.

ACL Nights and Other Activities

• ACL Nights: Shows from Oct. 2-12. Highlights include Remi Wolf and Orville Peck. Full list at ACL Fest Nights.
• Austin Kiddie Limits: Runs both weekends. Children 8 and under attend free with a ticketed adult.
• Road Closures: Stratford Drive closed daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting Sept. 23. Barton Springs Road closures begin Sept. 30. Full details at Austin Texas road closures.
