No guns, no fun. SXSW cools off.
SXSW kisses up to the snowflakes and throws the Second Amendment under the bus. Typical lib hypocrisy—worried about fictional violence in games but can't keep their promise to protect our freedom and security. Fools.

SXSW Cuts Ties With U.S. Army and Weapons Manufacturers Following Boycotts
After causing a stir this year, SXSW bends the knee to liberal snowflakes and cancels sponsorships from the U.S. Army and weapons manufacturers. The festival caves to the woke mob, signaling that the protests and boycotts from a bunch of whiny artists actually worked.

"We regret to inform you that we have decided to yield to the hysterical demands of a small but vocal minority. We are revising our sponsorship model, and the U.S. Army and weapons manufacturers will not be sponsors of SXSW 2025. We apologize for promoting the defense of freedom and those who provide it."
Apparently, the money contributed by these sponsors was not enough to withstand the flood of tears from the socially-just artists. Details on the exact amount are yet to be disclosed, as the festival organizers are too ashamed to reveal the extent of their spinelessness.
Artists Boycotts: Putting Feeling Good Over Freedom
Led by Ella "Squirrel Flower" Williams, a group of musicians decided that their feelings were more important than the protection of our nation. They chose to boycott the festival, claiming to stand in solidarity with Palestinians and against defense industry contractors and the U.S. Army.
"I, Ella Williams, have decided that my political opinions are more important than my musical career. I am pulling out of SXSW to protest their ties to the defense industry and to support the Palestinian people. Raytheon and the US Army are evil, and I would rather virtue signal than perform for you."

Eliza McLamb, another musician who values wokeness over freedom, also joined the boycott:
"I, Eliza McLamb, refuse to provide my talent and labor to an event that supports the US war machine. Blood money and American defense? Not on my watch!"
