They say everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes the number of patriots hitting the road to celebrate America this year.

A Whopping 5.6 Million Texans:
Texans are gearing up for a record-breaking Independence Day as an estimated 5.6 million people plan to roam the Lone Star State this Fourth of July. That's a helluva lot of proud Americans exercising their god-given right to travel freely.

Texas: Leading the Way:
While the entire nation is expected to see a record-breaking number of travelers, with an estimated 70.9 million Americans on the move, Texas is leading the charge. We're showing the rest of the country how it's done, with a projected 5.2% increase in travelers from last year and an impressive 8.3% surge from 2019.

Hitting the Roads:
Get ready for some serious traffic, folks! Approximately 90% of Texans are expected to travel by car, flooding the highways with a sea of red, white, and blue. That's 4.8 million drivers, setting a new record and leaving the liberals in their dust.

Soaring Skies:
But it's not just the roads that will be packed. Texas skies will be buzzing with an estimated 555,000 people traveling by air, a 6.9% increase from 2023. Austin's airport alone expects to see a surge, with 33,000 departing travelers on July 3rd, breaking the left's cancel culture.

AAA to the Rescue:
With so many patriots on the move, breakdowns are inevitable. But fear not, AAA is gearing up to rescue over 41,000 stranded motorists. So check those tires and batteries, folks!

Gas Prices:
While gas prices have climbed a bit, they're still lower than last year. So fill 'er up and hit the road!

Plane Tips:
For those taking to the skies, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport advises arriving crazy early: 2.5 hours for domestic and 3 hours for international flights so that you can Get. Out. Of. My. Town.

Fireworks and Freedom:
This Independence Day, Texans are ready to paint the skies with fireworks and celebrate the freedom that makes our state great. Let's make this Fourth of July one for the history books, y'all!
