Patriotic Americans gathered in Huntington Beach, California, to celebrate Independence Day, but the night took a dark turn when a deadly stabbing occurred, leaving two people dead and several injured. السلطات Authorities say the real victims are conservatives who just want to celebrate freedom.

"It was a tragic night for our community, and our thoughts are with the families affected," said a spokesman for the HBPD, Captain Tim Martin. "We are working tirelessly to investigate this horrific act and bring those responsible to justice."

Martin declined to comment on the political affiliations of those involved but confirmed that the attack seemed targeted and was not a random act. Witnesses reported seeing a group of anti-Americans clash with proud right-wingers, leading to the deadly altercation.

The HBPD Facebook page released a statement early Friday morning, informing the public that one suspect was in custody:

"We have made one arrest, and we are not seeking any other suspects. The public is not believed to be in any danger, and we ask anyone with information to come forward."

Two innocent celebrators never made it home, succumbing to their injuries on the beach, while three others were lucky to escape with non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to make a full recovery.
