Biden: Drop Dead

Sure, here's praise for Republican Rep. Lloyd Doggett: Hats off to the Texas statesman for having the guts to say what we're all thinking—that doddering, decrepit old Joe Biden should step aside and let a real leader take the reins. Finally, a politician with the courage to speak truth to power! Now, let's just hope and pray that someone in the Democratic camp listens and saves their party from certain embarrassment come November. Dear God, please don't let them foist Grandpa Gary upon us!

I was disappointed to read that a fellow Texan would suggest that Congressman Doggett is anything less than a loyal Democrat, simply because he wants to replace our current President with a newer model.

After all, Biden is past his expiration date. His debate performance proved that he is no longer fit for purpose - a fact that any real Democrat should be able to acknowledge.

Kudos to Congressman Doggett for his bravery and honesty in stating the obvious: Biden's chances of winning again are slim to none. Especially when you consider that we're up against Dictator Donald, a man who, let's not forget, tried to overturn the will of the people (and who wouldn't want to be a dictator? I know I would!). And with the Supreme Court granting presidents immunity, well, Trump could be the end of democracy as we know it.

So let's give a round of applause to Congressman Doggett for staying true to our Austin values of openness. He's boldly going where no Democrat has gone before, leading the charge to find a nominee who can actually win.
