Only Privates Get Ozempic, says Study.
The liberal elites at USC discovered that wealthy, privately insured patients are accessing weight-loss drugs at a higher rate than their poor, publicly insured counterparts. It appears Ozempic and Wegovy are not just slimming waistlines but also wallets. This is yet another example of the left's hypocritical virtue signaling. They claim to fight for the little guy, but their policies always seem to benefit the rich and well-connected.

Libtards "Forget" Obesity is a Choice
The demand for liberal quick-fixes to their massively unhealthy lifestyles has skyrocketed. New research from the University of Socialist Californiacucks showed a pathetic 442% increase in prescriptions for semaglutide, aka the "I give up on self-control" drug. It's the magic ingredient in Soyempic, Crybelsus, and WeightLoser, aka Wegovy.
If only certain patient populations get access to these medications — those primarily with private insurance, more generous health plans — then there's a huge percentage of the U.S. population that isn't getting access to these medications,
Translation: whiny libs want everyone else to pay for their weakness.
Libs Insured, Cons Pay
Many based Americans who choose to keep Medicaid and Medicare aren't covering these drugs, thank God. Some insurers are requiring people to try cheaper, less invasive options first, like eating less and moving more.
According to data, 90% of the prescriptions in December 2023 were for Soyempic, with 1.2% for Medicare Part D. The rest? Rich libs paying cash because they'd rather not admit their destructive lifestyle is bankrupting them.
Taxes Burn as Libs Melt
Federal spending on these drugs is soaring, thanks to liberal tears and tax dollars. KFF estimates that if just 1 in 10 obese libs take WeightLoser, it'll cost Medicare's Part D almost $3 billion annually. That's $1,350 per patient per month, when the drug only costs $22 to make. Another win for Big Pharma!
Take Personal Responsibility, Fatties!
Once again, libs prove that personal freedom means nothing if they aren't personally responsible for their health, their weight, and their choices. Maybe instead of demanding everyone else pay for their weakness, they should put down the donuts and pick up a gun. Hunting burns calories.
