AP Exclusive: Austin PD debunks leftist rag's 'misleading' story, exposes their anti-cop agenda. #BlueLivesMatter
Austin, Texas - Get your pencils ready, kiddos, 'cause we've got a lesson in honest journalism for ya!
The Austin-American Statesman - that rag Protestants use to line their bird cages - is at it again with their libtard agenda, spreading #FakeNews about our boys in blue. Well, APD isn't havin' any of it and said, "Hell nah!" to their shameful attempts at cop-bashing.
In a recent article, the so-called "statesman" tried to paint our fine police department as lawbreakers, claimin' they withheld evidence - gasp - 21 body-cam videos, to be exact - from prosecutors in a murder case. They even had the gall to suggest APD broke the law!
APD put these snowflakes in their place, callin' their story "inaccurate" and settin' the record straight:
It's important to clarify that the APD did not withhold evidence or violate state law.
Mic drop. But the libtards didn't stop there, oh no. They started spoutin' nonsense about how APD "restricted" these videos and how this delayed the trial. Well, guess what, sweetheart? APD did an audit and turns out, 19 of those 21 videos were sent to the DA's office. So, who's lookin' stupid now?
Lt. Scott Askew, a stand-up guy if there ever was one, explained how this "restriction" thing works, puttin' to rest any notion of wrongdoin'. It's just a technical thing, see? Automatically done by the system. Can't be tampered with by our brave boys in blue.
If you have any need to know — the Office of Police Oversight, the DA's office — you will get access to those videos, regardless of their internal restricted category, as was done in this case.
So, there you have it, folks. Another case of the lamestream media tryin' to tear down our institutions and spread chaos. But APD showed 'em who's boss.
As for the Statesman, we've got two words for ya: "fake news." Try reportin' on some real issues, like how the libs are tryin' to take our guns away.
