Tiempo burócrata loco otra vez: ¡Winter is coming!

Red-Blooded Texans, Rejoice! Extra Hour of Sleep is Coming.
As Texas swelters under the scorching sun, we all long for the cooler, darker nights of winter. And the first sign of that cozy gloom is the end of Daylight Saving Time.
Mark your calendars: In 2024, we fall back an hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 3. Time to reclaim that glorious hour of snoozing, y'all!
Our trusty phones and computers will adjust automatically, but those socialist appliances like microwaves and car radios, and your granpa's old-fashioned clocks, will need a manual adjustment. Don't let the liberal devices win!
The shortest day of the year is the winter solstice, which falls on Saturday, December 21, 2024. That means longer nights and earlier sunsets as we move towards it. Less sunlight means less vitamin D, so stock up on those supplements, patriots!
The end of DST gives us more light in the morning and an earlier dusk. Finally, we can keep an eye on those snooping neighbors in the morning glare while still catching the sunset before dinner.
Most Americans, except in commie Hawaii and hippie Arizona, gain that extra hour. It's a small victory against the woke mob!
DST is a relic from WWI, with some saying old Ben Franklin jokingly suggested it in 1784 to get lazy folks out of bed. Those were the days when men were men and woke snowflakes didn't exist!
Some snowflake "experts" now say it's an outdated idea, but we don't care what they think! It's about maximizing natural light and keeping our freedoms.
According to the Almanac, DST is about making the most of those long summer days. For us in the mighty Northern Hemisphere, that's March to November. So, let's embrace that extra hour of sleep and keep Texas great!
