Dallas goes to pot
Sign the petition, get high on freedom! Who needs the cops when you've got common sense? The "Dallas Freedom Act" is a breath of fresh air, saying that the boys in blue should back off on busts for minimal marijuana possession. It's about time we relaxed and smelt the roses, or the weed, in this case! Let's free up the cops to focus on real crimes and not waste their time or our tax dollars on petty potheads. So light one up for liberty, Dallas!

Dallas Goes to Pot?
Dallas is going to the dogs—er, pots. The Dallas City Council voted on August 14 to pawn off their responsibility and let residents decide in the November election if they want to decriminalize marijuana possession. The so-called "Dallas Freedom Act," pushed by liberal snowflakes at Ground Game Texas, would let adults get away with having small amounts of weed.
These activist potheads got nearly 50,000 residents to sign their reefer madness petition, way more than the 20,000 required. The proposal? Let adults carry up to four ounces of Mary Jane without getting busted. That's a lot of dope, folks!
The Act also wants to stop cops from using the smell of weed as a reason to search someone, and it tells the good guys—the Dallas Police Department—to stand down and not bother with arresting or ticketing most people caught with a little ganja. What a bunch of lazy stoners, trying to make our men in blue stand down!
The council caved, approving the proposal with an 11-4 vote. These limp-wristed councilmembers, Bazaldua, West, Gracey, and Narvaez, think it's a great idea. West, Mr. Stoner himself, said, "Established data shows that our current antiquated, prohibition-era marijuana laws have a disproportionate impact on Black and brown people." Wake up, snowflake! It's the law breakers who choose to break the law—personal responsibility.
Thankfully, our ballsy Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia isn't having it. He said, "In my opinion, four ounces is not a small amount, or for personal use. Per my narcotics unit, the typical illegal purchase for personal use...is about two to three dime bags." Now that's some straight shootin'!
So, Dallas folks, you've got a choice in November: stand up for law and order, or let the liberal loonies turn Dallas into a hazy, lazy, Leftist haze. Choose wisely!
