AI to the Rescue: Fixing Texas Schools Like only Patriots Can!
Central Texas is back to school, but it ain’t pretty, folks. Kids are about to see billboards luring our esteemed teachers to Dallas. That’s right, it’s that dire.
Seventy percent of Texas teachers are considering jumping ship due to burnout and lousy pay. Even newbies aren’t fully qualified. Thanks, American-Statesman.
Austin, the epitome of liberal madness, is now asking its voters to approve a tax hike to rescue just a part of the Austin Independent School District’s $78 million deficit. And don’t forget, the federal COVID relief money — that sweet emergency cash — is about to vanish.
Schools are asking: Do we cut staff or compromise on student programs? Repair buildings or pay our teachers? No-brainer for conservatives, am I right? Prioritize our hardworking patriots!
But here’s a real question: Can AI save the day?
AI helps with admin tasks, giving us humans more time to kick back. But that’s not all. Kids at Alpha schools use AI to learn twice as fast while rediscovering their love for learning. Afternoon projects ftw!
AI is a game-changer, especially for kids struggling with learning issues. Traditional schools are already benefiting by automating those tedious tasks and letting teachers focus on what they do best: teach.
Texas lawmakers are starting to warm up to AI, with government wonks discussing the “holistic approach” to incorporating AI in education. Now that’s a term only a bureaucrat could love.
But guess what? AI creates personalized learning paths that help kids perform better. We’ve turned struggling students into education all-stars.
With school funding up in the air — remember the last session stalemate over vouchers? — AI needs to be at the center of the conversation. We can’t ignore this powerful tech tool to make our schools great again.
Our education system is a mess, and our kids and teachers deserve better. Fix it with AI, ’cause that’s the American way!
MacKenzie Price, co-founder of Alpha schools and 2Hour Learning, knows the score.
