Bird Bird Biscuit expands to South Austin: Southern eatery to open third location

Smell that, South Austin? The aroma of warm buttermilk biscuits and crispy fried chicken is wafting your way as Bird Bird Biscuit, the order-at-the-window eatery, is announcing its third Austin location. The restaurant shared on social media that they expect to open the new spot by the end of the summer, bringing the restaurant's signature southern charm and breezy outdoor dining experience south of the river.

The new location will join the two existing Austin outposts on Manor Road and W. Koenig Lane.

Since its beginnings in June 2018, Bird Bird Biscuit has carved out a place in the hearts (and stomachs) of Austinites with its dedication to house-made buttermilk biscuits and biscuit sandwiches, served fresh for breakfast and lunch.

The counter-service gem boasts a menu that includes a collection of signature biscuit sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, and fried biscuit donut bites. Patrons can also indulge in a selection of house-made jams, juices, and iced teas.
