Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth claim five of the most affluent American suburbs, according to 2025 data.

Of America's wealthiest suburbs in 2025, one in ten can be found in Texas.
A new analysis by personal finance site GOBankingRates gathered data on qualifying cities with at least 5,000 households that were within a metropolitan statistical area but not the principal city. While rankings were based on the highest average household income, the analysis also included average home values for comparison purposes.

Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth share 5 of America's wealthiest suburbs
A total of five Texas suburbs made GOBankingRates' list of this year's wealthiest in the country: Two in H-Town, two in Cowtown and one in Big D. Three of these ranked in the top 10.
