Hanyang Eng USA Inc. filed requests for permits to build a 62,435-square-foot manufacturing and office building on an undeveloped 7-acre tract off Harris Branch Parkway, according to property records and a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. The company plans to spend about $14 million on the project, or roughly $224 per square foot. Construction is expected to begin in July and wrap up in May 2027.

The project marks the latest Austin-area investment for Hanyang, which moved its U.S. headquarters to Cedar Park from Austin in 2023 with the help of about $705,000 in grants tied to 50 jobs. The company has maintained a presence in the Austin area for nearly two decades.

Hanyang did not respond to requests for comment.
