Award-winning Austin brewery and pizzeria Pinthouse might expand again, this time with a sprawling new multi-building development in Leander, according to state construction documents.

The filings come as Pinthouse continues to build a national reputation for both its beer program and inventive pizza menu. The brewery earned a gold medal at the 2026 World Beer Cup for “Fully Adrift” in the Imperial India Pale Ale category and a bronze medal for "Hecho En Szechuan" in the Herb and Spice Beer category. The restaurant is known for rotating innovative seasonal pizzas like a banh mi-inspired pie.

Pinthouse has three locations in Austin, as well as outposts in Round Rock and San Antonio.

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filings show plans for three separate buildings at 1605 E. New Hope Drive, including a brewery and restaurant facility with an outdoor beer garden and two restaurant shell buildings.

The three projects total more than 27,000 square feet of development and more than $10.3 million in estimated construction costs.

Filings show the centerpiece 13,640-square-foot restaurant and brewery building is slated to begin construction Sept. 30 with projected completion by June 2027.

Two additional shell restaurant buildings are also planned on the same block. One would span 8,175 square feet while the other would total 5,300 square feet.

If completed, the project would expand Pinthouse’s footprint in Austin and add a large-scale food and beverage hub to Leander.
