The Trader Joe's reusable mini tote bag is back, this time with pastel stripes just in time for summer. The grocery chain's beloved product will be available later this month in shades of pink, blue, green and brown, according to the company. Slated for a June 17 in-store release, the limited edition will retail for the usual $2.99 per bag.
The mini version of the iconic canvas tote was first released in 2024. Each variation and redesign of the now-collectible item has led fans to queue outside stores in hopes of snagging the latest style.
Some have sold for hundreds of dollars on resale sites, leading Trader Joe's to sue counterfeit producers over knockoff versions.
Just 11 inches tall, 13 inches long and 6 inches wide, fans have found countless ways to put the bags to use beyond carrying fresh produce — from lunch bags to workout caddies.
In the greater Austin area, Trader Joe's has four locations, part of its ever-growing Texas presence of more than two dozen storefronts statewide.
