Filming for Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson's Apple TV+ comedy series, "Brothers," has been paused in Austin. The show, loosely based on the real-life friendship between the two actors, halted production late last week due to "creative differences." Eight of the ten ordered episodes had been completed before the pause.

David West Read, the showrunner, has exited the project, as reported by Variety. Veteran comedy showrunner Lee Eisenberg, known for "Jury Duty" and "Lessons In Chemistry," is in talks to take over and oversee the final two episodes and any necessary reshoots.

McConaughey and Harrelson, who also serve as executive producers, have been spotted filming across Austin, including scenes on Riverside Drive and at Auditorium Shores. No official return date for production has been announced, but the pause is expected to allow for creative adjustments under new leadership.
