Some of the most iconic voices in country and folk music are hitting the stage next week as part of the Outlaw Music Festival’s 10th anniversary tour.
The festival is making stops in Austin, Dallas and Houston, offering a lineup sure to draw crowds from near and far. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the scene, this event promises an unforgettable experience filled with great music and good vibes.
This guide covers everything you need to know before heading out — from ticket details and parking info to venue rules and what to expect on the big day.

- Friday, July 4: Germania Insurance Amphitheater — Austin, TX
- Saturday, July 5: Dos Equis Pavilion — Dallas, TX
- Sunday, July 6: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Presented by Huntsman — The Woodlands, TX

- Bob Dylan: 8:10 p.m. – 9:25 p.m.

What to know about venue policies
All venues on the Outlaw Music Festival tour enforce strict bag policies.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for security screenings and to check each venue’s full list of prohibited items.
While the bag policy is consistent across venues, other rules — such as what items are allowed inside and sizing — may vary by location. (Note: As of publication, the Germania Insurance Amphitheater policy page was no longer available online.)
The Pavilion in The Woodlands
Plan to arrive early to allow time for parking, security screening and finding your seat. The Pavilion is a cashless venue, and no re-entry is allowed once you leave.
Security and entry
- Walk-through metal detectors are used at all entrance gates.
- Guests typically don’t need to remove items from their pockets unless requested by staff.
- All guests are subject to search. Those who refuse will be denied entry.
Permitted items (subject to change):
- Cameras with non-detachable lenses
- Signs 8.5" x 11" or smaller
- Small blankets or tarps
- Small umbrellas and rain jackets
- Most wearable neck fans
- One (1) one-gallon Ziploc bag of personal food per person (Live Nation shows only)
- Empty reusable water bottles (restrictions may apply depending on artist)
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Animals (except service animals)
- Aerosol products (bug spray, sunscreen, hairspray)
- Audio or video recording equipment
- Outside beverages or liquids
- Detachable-lens cameras
- Glass containers (including perfume bottles)
- Lawn chairs (rentals available on-site)
- Weapons of any kind, including firearms
- Laptops, tablets, laser pointers, selfie sticks
- Grills, fireworks, or tents

Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas
Bag policy
- Only clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" are permitted.
- Small clutches or fanny packs (no larger than 6" x 9") are allowed and do not need to be clear.
- All bags are subject to search. Oversized or non-compliant bags will be turned away.
Allowed items (subject to artist discretion):
- One factory-sealed water bottle (up to one gallon) or an empty refillable bottle (non-frozen)
- Picnic-sized blankets/tarps (max size: 50" x 60")
- Cameras (non-professional only, no detachable lenses)
- Sunscreen and bug spray (non-aerosol only)
- Personal neck or misting fans (must be empty at entry)
- Small umbrellas and stadium cushions (no metal frames)
- E-cigarettes and vape pens (plaza and lawn areas only)
Not allowed:
- Weapons of any kind, including knives
- Lawn chairs (rentals available on-site)
- Large bags or backpacks (unless clear and within size limits)
- Coolers or outside alcohol
- Frozen water bottles
- Glass containers, cans, or illegal substances
- Tablets, iPads, selfie sticks, GoPros, or drones
- Cameras with detachable lenses or recording equipment
- Glow sticks, laser pointers, fireworks
- Signage larger than 8.5" x 11"
- Skateboards, scooters, hoverboards, or bikes
- Unauthorized flyers, marketing materials, or solicitation
- Chains or spiked jewelry
- Animals, except service animals
Lawn chairs Outside chairs are not allowed. Lawn chairs may be rented on-site (27.6" x 27.6" x 30.5") and must be returned after the event. To rent in advance, check the venue's “Upgrades Available” section online.
