Miranda Lambert, Lyle Lovett Headline Austin Flood Benefit Concerts
Miranda Lambert, Lyle Lovett, and other artists will perform at benefit concerts in Austin to support flood recovery efforts following the July 4 disaster.

Austin’s music community continues to raise money for relief efforts following the July 4 floods that affected parts of Central Texas earlier this month. Several benefit shows are scheduled over the next few months, culminating in major showcases at Moody Center in August and ACL Live in September.
Here are seven live music events in the Austin area with proceeds supporting flood recovery efforts:
July 31: ‘A Night of Beauty for the Heart of Texas’ at Riverbend Centre for the Arts
Riverbend Centre for the Arts is hosting a flood relief benefit featuring poetry, art, and live music from Chase Gassaway, Ferera Swan, Dan Radin, Ashley Monical, Tony Rogers, Ruel Thomas, Jo James, Courtney Gayle (Gritty Sunset Band), Cassidy Edison, and Maddie Schulte. Emceed by ATX Good News’ Leslie Rhode, the event includes light snacks and beverages from Still Austin and other local vendors. Proceeds benefit the Austin Disaster Relief Network and Convoy of Hope. Aug. 1: ‘CenTex Strong’ Flood Relief Benefit Concert at Come and Take It Live
Come and Take It Productions presents “CenTex Strong,” an all-ages concert featuring Foo Shot (a Foo Fighters tribute), Dream Stereo, Firecracker Smile, and Bicycle Boy. Profits support emergency relief supplies, rebuilding efforts, and mental health resources for flood survivors. Additional donations can be added to ticket purchases. Info: etix.com.
Aug. 2: ‘Flood Relief Show’ featuring DAIISTAR at Mohawk
Mohawk and Resound Presents host a benefit show with DAIISTAR, Font, Club Coma, Sexpop, lluvii, and Alma Muñeca. The outdoor, all-ages event supports the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, with food available from Bad Larry Burger Club. Info: mohawkaustin.com.
Aug. 3: ‘After The Flood’ Benefit Concert at Kick Butt Coffee
Kick Butt Coffee’s “After The Flood” features punk and metal acts including Charlie Dog, Society’s Joke, Worm Suicide, Brass Knuckle Monkey, Mega Negative, Vaydra, Old Phukkers, and Fingerjane. A $10 door charge and raffle proceeds support flood relief. Info: facebook.com.
Aug. 12: ‘Song In The Storm’ with Lyle Lovett at the Paramount Theatre
Lyle Lovett and Michael Martin Murphy headline “Song In The Storm: Heart of Texas Flood Benefit,” joined by Andy Hedges and Jimmie Vaughan. Proceeds benefit the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Info: austintheater.org.
Aug. 17: 'Band Together Texas' at Moody Center
Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Kelly Clarkson, Cody Johnson, and others perform at “ Band Together Texas,” with special guests Matthew McConaughey and Dennis Quaid. Sep. 8: ‘Deep in the Heart’ Benefit Concert at ACL Live
