Actor Glen Powell recently shared a story about a TikTok creator who has eaten edible photos of his face for over 100 days in an attempt to get cast in one of his projects. Powell met the fan, known as @mynameismonique on TikTok, during the red carpet premiere of his film "The Running Man." The unusual fan interaction was discussed during a Hollywood Reporter comedy roundtable which included celebrities Harrison Ford, Owen Wilson, Riz Ahmed, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Zach Braff. After signing a photo for the fan, Powell watched her take a bite out of it, laughed and declared, "It's on now. Now it's a premiere."
Powell has become one of Hollywood's fastest-rising stars following major roles in films such as "Top Gun: Maverick," "Anyone But You," and "Twisters." He moved back to Austin in 2024 after living in Los Angeles for 15 years, purchasing a $4 million estate in the Barton Creek neighborhood.
