From "Love is Blind" to "The Real World," Central Texans have attracted the attention of reality television producers looking to turn the region’s personalities into binge-worthy television. Whether it’s strangers falling in love sight unseen or roommates navigating life in Austin, reality television has long found plenty to work with in Texas.
In a state long defined by Southern hospitality, Hill Country wealth and larger-than-life personalities, Central Texas feels like natural territory for Bravo’s next hit show.
The television network recently announced “Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives,” centered on a group of women navigating friendship, status and scandal. The show’s description specifically mentions Boerne.
To be clear: Bravo has not announced a cast.
Still, internet gossip, social media connections and a few familiar reality TV patterns have fueled speculation about who could potentially make appearances. Bravo franchises often pull from existing social circles — women who already know each other and share communities.
That usually means people who are locally well-known, wealthy or influential, but not necessarily household-name celebrities. Before anyone asks: no, this is not speculation that Camila Alves McConaughey is about to join the cast.
With that in mind, here are a few divas who might fit the mold.
Aaryn Williams
Aaryn Williams may already have the strongest reality TV résumé of the rumored names. Williams previously appeared on Season 15 of “Big Brother,” where she drew controversy over remarks remarks that drew accusations of racism and homophobia.
That combination — an established reality TV background and a controversial public image — has led some online fans to speculate she could fit Bravo’s casting formula. Williams now shares lifestyle-focused social media content centered on motherhood, fitness and family life with her husband and four daughters.
Amanda Watters
If Bravo history proves anything, it’s that casts are often built around overlapping friend groups.
That’s part of why some fans suspect Amanda Watters could also enter the mix. Watters frequently appears in social media collaborations with Williams and has built a sizable Instagram following through lifestyle and parenting content.
Though many of her posts are tagged “#ATX,” reality TV speculation accounts have pointed to her connections within the same influencer orbit tied to the Hill Country and Boerne social scene.
Miriam O’Brien
Miriam O’Brien brings a different kind of online persona.
On Instagram, O’Brien describes herself as a lawyer and mother of three, while also showcasing high-end interiors and home décor that feel like something from the pages of Architectural Digest or Southern Living. Her content is polished, potentially positioning her as the hypothetical “voice of reason” archetype common in ensemble reality shows.
The social media connections here are thinner: O’Brien appears connected to rumored cast member Ashlee Nichols through mutual follows online.
Allison McAnelly
Allison McAnelly has also surfaced in fan theories surrounding the show.
Based in Boerne, McAnelly shares fashion and family-oriented lifestyle content online and appears connected to several women already circulating in speculation posts. Followers have noted that
Williams and Watters follow McAnelly on Instagram, while tagged photos suggest ties to Nichols as well.
Ashlee Nichols
Of the rumored names, Ashlee Nichols has perhaps the largest social media presence.
Nichols, a Boerne-based mother of three, has amassed hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers through fashion, travel and family-focused content. Fans speculating about the series have also pointed to her social media connections with Williams, Watters, McAnelly and O’Brien.
But for now, that remains exactly what it is: speculation.
Until Bravo releases an official cast list, all of the internet sleuthing, Instagram follow analysis and Hill Country gossip amounts to educated guessing from reality TV fans excited to see who may emerge as the next Texas housewives.
