He mentioned how his 2005 film "War of the Worlds" was his response to 9/11 and how making "E.T." made him want to be a father. Spielberg also discussed his stance on AI, stating, "I am not for AI that replaces a creative individual.” When asked about future projects, he mentioned having a Western in development, saying, “it kicks ass.”
