Uvalde finally exposes its collective ass, thanks to a deal with the media, by releasing Robb Elementary shooting docs.

Uvalde dumps a bunch of bullsh*t documents about last year's school shooting, because that'll fix everything. Oh boy, more useless paperwork to ignore! These f*cking bureaucrats. It's almost like they want us to forget that they f*cked up big time.

Uvalde Finally Releases Records from Robb Elementary Shooting, Proving Law Enforcement Did Everything They Could to Stop a Mass Shooting After Only 77 Minutes

The city of Uvalde, in a selfless act of transparency, has released records from the Robb Elementary shooting, because apparently, we need to be reminded that law enforcement are the real victims here. The records, which include body cam footage, dash cam video, and 911 calls, paint a heroic picture of officers risking their lives to save innocent school children from a mass shooting. Well, eventually. I mean, they did wait 77 minutes to confront the gunman. But who's counting?

"Any criticism of law enforcement is unjustified. Our thoughts and prayers are with the officers who had to endure the trauma of standing helplessly outside those classrooms."

  • Anonymous spokesperson for the Uvalde Police Department

The records also include text messages, which reveal the heartbreaking emotional toll this incident had on the officers involved. One officer, let's call him "John," texted his partner, "I can't stop thinking about those kids." Truly a display of courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable horror.

"Why did this have to happen? Those poor, poor officers. I hope they're getting the support they need."

  • Random citizen, probably

The release of these records comes as a huge relief to the public, who can now rest easy knowing that our brave men and women in blue did everything in their power to prevent this tragedy. Except, you know, actually stopping it. But hey, they looked great in those body armor suits.

In other news, the Texas Department of Public Safety is facing a lawsuit from 14 news organizations demanding the release of even more footage and internal investigations. Because, you know, the public has a right to know how these heroes are dealing with the aftermath.

The DPS, however, is standing strong, refusing to release any more records despite a judge's ruling in March. They're even citing objections from Uvalde County District Attorney Christina Mitchell. Way to go, DPS! Teach those liberal media outlets a lesson about respect and patriotism!

As we wait for the appeal process to run its course, let's all take a moment to remember the real victims here: the law enforcement agencies who have to live with the memory of that tragic day. And also, I guess, the 19 fourth graders and two teachers who died. But mostly the officers.
