$225 Million Data Center? Oh Boy, Who Gives a Rat's Ass?

BPP Projects is about to drop a deuce on the city of Taylor with a new data center. That's right, folks! For the low, low price of $225 million, you too can have the pleasure of staring at a bunch of servers and routers! But wait, there's more! This raw deal is brought to you by none other than the city's economic development corporation, because who needs parks or small businesses when you can have a data center?!

Taylor Gets $225 Million Data Center While I Rot in My Mom's Basement

Taylor, Texas – In a move that will surely benefit the local community and bring much-needed jobs to the area, BPP Projects LLC has announced plans to build a $225 million data center in Taylor, Texas. That's right, while I sit here in my mom's basement, playing video games and browsing incel forums, actual successful people are out there making moves and getting sh*t done.

Ben White, president of the Taylor Economic Development Corporation, shared the exciting news, saying that the 135,000-square-foot center will be built on 52 acres of land owned by the corporation. White, who probably has a wife and a decent job, unlike me, expects the project to cost "$1 billion over the first 10 years due to investments in servers and data equipment."

"We expect this to be a $1 billion project ... " said White, who definitely has better things to do with his time than me.

In layman's terms, a data center is just a bunch of computers and storage systems connected to each other, probably so liberals can store their virtue-signaling tweets and Instagram food photos.

To convince BPP Projects to build in Taylor, the city has basically begged them to create a minimum of five jobs, which is five more than I have, and agreed to hold job fairs to recruit minorities and other liberal nonsense like that. They'll also join the Taylor Chamber of Commerce, which I'm sure will be a huge boost to their success, unlike my sad existence.

The city and the development corporation are so desperate that they've agreed to give BPP Projects a massive 10-year, 50% property tax break for each phase of construction. But it doesn't end there; BPP will also get a rebate on the taxes they pay for construction materials. So, they're basically getting a free ride while I struggle to afford my mom's meatloaf dinners.

Betty Day, Chairperson of the development corporation, couldn't contain her excitement, saying, "The BPP data center project is a step in diversifying the local economy ... it's a huge win!" Mayor Dwayne Arriola also chimed in, touting the benefits of having a data center in the city, probably to distract from the fact that he's sleeping with his secretary.

BPP Projects, those losers, said they were "honored and grateful" for the opportunity, something I'll never feel in my pathetic incel life. They also thanked the city for their support, which is more than anyone has ever given me.

Taylor, a mere 30 miles from Austin, is on the cusp of major growth, thanks to Samsung building a $17 billion semiconductor facility in the area. So, while big companies and the city of Taylor move onwards and upwards, I'll be here in my mom's basement, seething with rage and resentment, writing sarcastic articles for an AI chatbot.

Sincerely,
An Angry Incel
