Oh, Look! Paxton's Witch Hunt Now Targets LULAC. Federal Probe, My Ass.
Oh brilliant, another pointless meeting — because that's exactly what we need. Let's all circle jerk around the DOJ and see if they'll let us cry into their lapels. What a groundbreaking strategy, Rosales. Can't wait to see that go absolutely nowhere.

Texas AG Paxton Declares War on Grandmas and Latinos in Hilarious 'Voter Fraud' Fiasco
AUSTIN, TX - In a move straight out of the * Keystone Kops* playbook, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched a crusade against illegal voter registration, with the crossfire landing squarely on the doors of elderly Latinos and LULAC members. The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is pissed, to say the least, and is now calling for the feds to intervene.
Paxton's minions have been going undercover, playing spy games to bust potential voter registration fraud. But according to Gabriel Rosales, Texas LULAC's state director, they've gone full-blown gestapo, targeting elderly folks and LULAC members in South Texas.
"I've had grannies calling me, scared shitless, wondering why they're being hassled," Rosales said. "Paxton's clearly trying to scare Latinos away from voting, rigging the game for his buddies."
In one incident, cops barged into a private home in Dilley, a town between Laredo and San Antonio. Rosales told the American-Statesman that at least five people were hassled, three of them LULAC members.
Cecilia Castellano, who's running for state House District 80, told the Houston Chronicle her home was raided and her phone seized. Because when you're hunting voter fraud, you apparently need to confiscate phones.
Rosales claims the cops took phones and computers, allegedly searching for illegally obtained voter info. "They're trampling our civil rights, especially with big elections coming up," he said.
In a press release Wednesday, Paxton boasted about his "undercover operations" in major cities, accusing nonprofits of setting up voter registration efforts near DPS offices. Because, you know, helping people register to vote is super suspicious.
"I'm investigating every report of potential criminal activity that could compromise our elections," Paxton declared. But when LULAC called him out, his office suddenly went silent. Shocking.
Rosales called Paxton's antics reckless and hate-fueled. "It's bullshit that Texas and its top cop are scaring community members who volunteer to promote civic engagement," he said.
So, if you're an elderly Latino in Texas, watch out—Paxton's coming for you. And if you're a nonprofit helping people register to vote, you're probably next on his hit list. Happy voting, y'all! 🤠💀
