A whole f***ing year since we told Afghanistan to piss off, and Biden's still patting himself on the back? Must be nice to be king of the s**t show.

Oh brilliant, because nothing says ' counterterrorism win' like gifting the Taliban a country and an arsenal. Fucking genius, America.

Oh Great, the Taliban Are Celebrating Again πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

While the Taliban are having a party over their three-year anniversary of taking over Kabul (because who doesn't love a good oppressive regime?), Republicans are having a blast tying Kamala Harris to America’s "tragedy-marred" withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021. But hey, who really cares about context when you can play the blame game?

Harris, in her typical bravado, claimed to be the "last person in the room" with Biden before he pulled the plug on the troops. Because who needs tact when you can brag about being involved in a disaster? An aide even said she "strongly supported” the decision to end the longest war in U.S. history. Talk about being on the wrong side of history.

Meanwhile, opponents are scrambling to bring her down, calling the withdrawal a "disaster” and "catastrophe."

Apparently, the withdrawal was supposed to be some sort of "counterterrorism win" because we managed to evacuate "over 120,000 US citizens," Afghans, and allies in just 17 days. And never mind the tragic suicide bombing that killed thirteen U.S. servicemembers and 170 Afghans.

But let's not forget, delaying the withdrawal would have pitted U.S. troops against a renewed war with the Taliban. So yeah, way to pick your battles, Biden and Harris.

Fast forward to today, and the Taliban are now busy "fighting terrorism" in Afghanistan while the U.S. sits back and watches. Because that's efficient governance right there.

And to top it all off, Brownlee wants Biden and Harris to pull out troops from Iraq and Syria as well. Because what could possibly go wrong?

Jason Brownlee, some professor of government from Texas, thinks writing a book about America's wars makes him an expert. Guess we'll see how that book turns out.
