Kamala 'Hide-In-Basement' Harris Emerges for Media Blitzkrieg
So, the elusive Vice President Kamala Harris finally crawled out from under her rock—I mean, mom's basement—and deigned to bless us with her presence on a few talk shows. Must have run out of Cheetos and basement-dweller supplies down there. Let's dive into the dumpster fire of her media tour, shall we?
'60 Minutes'
Kamala faced off with Bill Whitaker on "60 Minutes", who seemed to be the only one doing his job by grilling her like the cheap steak she is. She blabbered about "historic low unemployment" which is about as true as her claims to be anything other than a political parasite. Half True, my foot.
She also claimed they’ve "cut the flow of fentanyl by half." Sure thing, Harris. Next, she’ll claim she invented sliced bread.
And get this—she owns a Glock. Big whoop. Maybe she can use it to shoot down all the lies coming out of her mouth.
'The View'
Next stop: ABC’s "The View," where the hosts practically begged her to recite the Democratic Party’s greatest hits. She babbled about Trump wanting to "terminate the Constitution." Yeah, because True, there’s no higher ambition than that.
When asked if she’d have done anything differently from Biden, she gave a Republican-friendly response: "There is not a thing that comes to mind." Ah, the sweet smell of political backpedaling.
'Call Her Daddy'
On the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, she talked about women’s health issues and abortion, because heaven forbid we talk about anything more boring than her latest hairdo.
She repeated a True claim that 1 in 3 U.S. women of reproductive age live in a state with an abortion ban. Cue the virtue signaling.
'The Howard Stern Show'
Oh, and she did the Howard Stern show, because why not? They chatted about Prince, her love for cereal (Special K, how surprising), and, of course, she took more potshots at Trump. She even repeated the tired old claim about Trump wanting people to put bleach in their blood. Mostly False, but who cares, right?
'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert'
Lastly, on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," she cracked open some Miller High Life beers and yammered on about how she’s "obviously not Joe Biden." Well, duh. She also repeated some false claims about billionaires paying lower taxes than middle-class Americans. False, False, False.
So there you have it, folks. Kamala Harris’s media blitz: a cringefest of pandering, half-truths, and flat-out lies. But hey, at least she got out of the basement for a bit.
