Father's Day is Sunday. Still don't have a plan for what to do with Dad? Austin offers a variety of events ranging from active experiences to more relaxed musical performances and sporting events. Whether your dad prefers vintage cars, fine dining, or live music, there are activities available to make his day memorable.

Here are some Father's Day weekend events in the Austin area:

June 14: Whiskey, Cars & Cigars

The grand opening of Iron Wolf Ranch & Distillery's new Cigar Lounge is this weekend. The free event promises premium Dominican cigars, signature Iron Wolf whiskey, and a classic car show. Live music by Men of Madam Radar will be featured from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday. G6 Catering will be on-site serving ribs, burgers, and wings. The event is family-friendly, offering games and a tsunami water slide for kids. It runs from noon to 8 p.m.

June 15: Dad Fest at Moontower Saloon

A free celebration of all things dad, featuring live music, food and cold drinks is happening at Moontower Saloon. They encourage attendees to bring the whole family for a day of fun. The event runs from noon to 6 p.m.

June 15: Dads vs. Kids Father's Day soccer tournament

Austin Men's Soccer Association (AMSA) is teaming up with Meanwhile Brewing Company for a series of friendly dads vs. kids soccer games. Participants must have proper safety gear (cleats and shin guards; no metal or ceramic cleats). Soccer balls will be provided. Additionally, local nonprofits will have pop-ups from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tournaments run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Registration is required and can be made on Prekindle.

June 15: Austin Symphonic Band Father's Day concert

The Austin Symphonic Band is hosting an evening of American heritage through music on Father’s Day in Cedar Park. The concert will feature pieces like "Midway March" and "Raiders March" by John Williams, "The Stars and Stripes Forever" by John Philip Sousa, tunes from "Show Boat," and Gershwin’s "Second Prelude." The performance also includes a "Salute to the Armed Forces" and "American Riversongs," offering a musical tribute to the nation's spirit. The concert is free and open to the public. It runs from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Meanwhile Brewing is hosting a free, all-ages outdoor concert featuring Heavy Mellow. Beverages will be available from the taproom, and food trucks will be on site. June 15: Grill, Gusto & Gran Turismo Father's Day experience

This experience at Hotel Viata includes live music, a classic car show and luxury test drives with Lamborghini Austin, featuring the new Lamborghini Urus SE. Guests can also enjoy bourbon tastings from Still Austin Whiskey Co. and beers from Jester King Brewery. A chef-curated grazing grill buffet will be available.
