Austin Fire Department and EMS crews responded to two swimmers in distress near Pennybacker Bridge on Saturday evening.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. near the Plaza on the Lake boat ramp, according to a social media post from AF D. One swimmer was rescued and treated, the department said, while the other remained missing as of Saturday night.
