Man Dies After Being Pulled from Lake Travis

A man was pulled from Lake Travis after being submerged for an unknown time. First responders performed CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

An adult man died after being pulled from Lake Travis on Saturday evening, officials said.

First responders were called around 6:28 p.m. to 6100 Bob Wentz Park Road, where rescue swimmers retrieved the man from the water, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. He had been submerged for an unknown period of time.

EMS, Lake Travis Fire and STAR Flight crews performed CPR, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or provided additional details about the incident.
