Austin police announced a breakthrough in the 1991 *I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt* murder case during a news conference attended by victims' families and officials.

Family members of the victims, including Amy Ayers’ parents Bob and Pam Ayers, observed a moment of silence. Shawn Ayers, Amy’s brother, and his wife Angie Ayers also spoke.
Mayor Kirk Watson and Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza attended, along with Mindy Montford from the Attorney General’s Office. Original detective John Jones spoke to reporters afterward.
Barbara Wilson, mother of Jennifer and Sarah Harbison, shared emotional remarks. Investigators involved in the case gathered for a group photo.
