The Beaver Supermoon illuminated the Austin sky in a dazzling display, marking the brightest moon of 2025. The celestial event captivated onlookers as the moon rose in spectacular fashion, offering a rare and breathtaking sight.

"It was absolutely mesmerizing," said one local stargazer. "The moon looked larger and more vibrant than usual, casting a beautiful glow over the city."

The supermoon, which occurs when the moon is at its closest point to Earth in its orbit, appeared approximately 14% larger and 30% brighter than a typical full moon. This phenomenon, known as a perigee syzygy, happens only a few times each year.
