Crews are currently battling an active structure fire at 3100 Manor Road, where a plume of smoke can be seen billowing into the sky.
The Austin Fire Department is responding to a large blaze near 3100 Manor Road, the second major fire of the day.
According to the city's real-time fire incidents page, the fire was reported around 3:55 p.m. and is described as a "structure fire." The shift commander on duty said the site of the fire is an abandoned auto shop, and the building is a total loss.
He said no injuries were reported and investigators are on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
Video captured by onlookers shows a large plume of smoke billowing into the sky as flames rise.
