H-E-B Yogurt Recall: FDA Warns of Undeclared Almond Allergy Risk

A recall is underway for a yogurt product sold in Texas due to an undeclared allergen, the Food and Drug Administration announced Dec. 19.

Popular Texas grocer H-E-B has issued a recall for its Higher Harvest by H-E-B Dairy-Free Coconut Yogurt, Strawberry flavor, after the product was found to potentially contain undeclared almond, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration on Dec. 19.

The recalled product was distributed to H-E-B and shipped on Nov. 24, through H-E-B distribution centers and retail grocery stores throughout Texas.

The recalled product was packaged in 5.3 oz plastic yogurt cups with foil lids, with a Best By date of Jan. 2, 2026 (Best By: 01/02/26) printed on the bottom of the cup.

There have been no reported illnesses to date.

According to the FDA, consumers who have purchased the affected product and have an almond allergy or sensitivity should not consume the product.
