Austin police are searching for three missing elderly men amid health concerns and incoming winter weather, authorities said.
Bernard Johnson, 69, was last seen around 10 a.m. Jan. 6 in the 6800 block of Riverside Drive, according to the Austin Police Department. Authorities said they are concerned for Johnson’s safety because of his health conditions and the threat of severe weather.
Johnson was last seen wearing an orange hat, black jacket and yellow boots, police said. He is described as a Black man, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 165 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
His disappearance comes as police also search for two other elderly men reported missing this week.
George “Joe” Lambert, 73, was last seen Sunday in the 5200 block of Tahoe Trail in South Austin. Police said they are concerned for Lambert’s welfare due to health conditions and the approaching winter weather.
Lambert is described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing roughly 170 pounds, with gray or silver hair, brown eyes and a short beard. He was last seen wearing a tan or light brown jacket, tan camouflage pants and black shoes with white shoelaces.
Police are also searching for Ramon Gonzalez Almager, 82, who was last seen around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 600 block of Radam Lane, according to authorities.
Almager is described as a Hispanic man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. Police said he walks with a limp, uses a cane and primarily speaks Spanish.
Anyone who sees Johnson, Lambert or Almager is asked to call 911 immediately, police said.
