Costco Recalls Mini Beignets Over Undeclared Hazelnuts
Costco recalls caramel mini beignets over undeclared hazelnuts, affecting 22 states including Texas, due to allergen mislabeling.

Costco has recalled caramel mini beignets after discovering that some packages contained chocolate-hazelnut–filled pastries not disclosed on the label, posing a serious risk to individuals with tree nut allergies. The beignets were distributed between Jan. 16 and Jan. 30, and the recall spans 22 states including Texas.
Costco stated that some caramel mini beignets were mistakenly packaged with chocolate-hazelnut–filled varieties, and the presence of hazelnuts was not disclosed on the clamshell label. The recalled product can be identified by item number #1181272.
