Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis provided a briefing on the mass shooting that occurred early Sunday morning March 1, 2026 near West Sixth Street and Nueces in downtown Austin.

Austin city officials hosted a press conference to give an update after a mass shooting early Sunday outside Buford's bar on West Sixth Street in downtown Austin.
