On Thursday morning, an Austin ISD bus collided with another vehicle that scraped the side of the bus.
Officials have confirmed there was at least one person transported with injury after a minor collision with an Austin ISD school district bus on Thursday morning.
The bus, carrying four students from Baldwin Elementary School, was scratched by another vehicle at an intersection on Highway 290 near Fitzhugh Road.
None of the students on the bus were injured, Austin Independent School District spokeswoman Cristina Nguyen said.
The school bus was stopped at the light when the other vehicle made contact. A call about the incident was received by the Travis County Sheriff's Office around 7:04 a.m.
A spokesperson for the office described the accident as "not a major collision at all" and said the agency could not release the name of the individual transported with injury.
All lanes have since been reopened.
