A growing memorial outside Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden reflects the grief across Austin after Sunday’s mass shooting on West Sixth Street. By Thursday, flowers, candles, photographs and handwritten notes filled the sidewalk, joined by yellow ribbons and wooden crosses bearing victims’ names. Austin police say four people, including the gunman, were killed and 19 others were injured in the early-morning shooting.
