A mysterious sidewalk installation referencing Jeffrey Epstein drew attention along Brazos Street in downtown Austin during the South by Southwest Conference and Festivals.
Festivalgoers moving between venues stopped to photograph and scan a series of star-shaped decals arranged along the sidewalk, styled after the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The display, calling itself the “Jeffrey Epstein Walk of Shame,” names public figures reported to have ties to Epstein.
Each star includes a QR code linking to documents related to his case, turning the installation into an interactive experience for passersby. The stars stretch between Fourth and Sixth streets, appearing amid the dense foot traffic typical of SXSW.
The identity of the person or group behind the installation remains unknown.
