While Austin-Bergstrom International Airport reported the March 30 expected passenger volume would be "within a typical Monday," lines were already snaking out the door at 5 a.m.

Over 30,000 travelers are anticipated to be screened Monday, and some were already feeling anxious about boarding in time.

"I've got 2 hrs 45 min until my flight," one posted on Reddit around 6 a.m. "Good luck everyone."

CBS Austin reporter Emilee Miranda captured photos and videos of the long lines at ABIA shortly after 5 a.m.

"If you have a flight today… ARRIVE EARLY!" Miranda's post reads in part.
