Austin Airport South Terminal Closes March 31
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport's South Terminal concludes operations March 31, 2026, with all flights relocating to the Barbara Jordan Terminal as part of expansion efforts.

The South Terminal at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will close March 31. Passengers moved through security and boarded flights on March 30, the next-to-last day of operations. Airlines will then shift to the Barbara Jordan Terminal. The site will be cleared for new taxiways as part of expansion plans tied to the airport’s growth.
