The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued a CLEAR Alert for a possibly endangered adult missing from San Antonio. Anna Opara, 32, is a Black woman with black hair and black eyes, standing at 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 169 pounds. She was last seen at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, April 12 at 11881 Potranco Road. At the time, she was wearing a black shirt with a race car on it, a tan jacket, teal pants and tan Crocs.
Police are asking anyone who sees Opara to call 911 immediately, and anyone with information is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff's Office at (210) 335-6000.
What is a CLEAR Alert?
A CLEAR Alert is used to help locate missing or kidnapped adults or those in life-or-death situations, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The acronym stands for "Coordinated Law Enforcement Adult Rescue." The following requirements are needed for a person to fall under the alert:
- A person is between 18 and 64 years old and whose whereabouts are unknown
- A preliminary investigation verified the adult was in danger
- Alert is requested within 72 hours of the adult's disappearance
- Enough information is available to share with the public to help locate the adult.
