Travis and Bexar County residents are invited to learn how property tax appraisals work and what to know before filing a protest.
Property tax season is upon us, and appraisal notices are set to hit homeowners' mailboxes beginning on April 15.
Travis and Bexar county residents are welcome to register for a live Zoom chat with Rogelio Sandoval, the chief appraiser for the Bexar Central Appraisal District. Join us for a conversation about appraisal trends for the Austin and San Antonio areas, how to save money by filing for exemptions and what you need to know about the protest process.
The free Zoom webinar will stream live at 1 p.m. on May 1 and is a joint event hosted by Austin American-Statesman and San Antonio Express-News newsrooms. Viewers can ask Sandoval questions about the property tax appraisal process and filing a protest.
