Former Round Rock Teacher Arrested in Student Sexual Assault Case
A former Round Rock High School teacher was arrested for the alleged off-campus sexual assault of a student, with the incident occurring during his employment.

A former Round Rock High School orchestra teacher was arrested Wednesday in connection with a sexual assault of a child investigation, according to the Round Rock Police Department.
The department, in collaboration with the Dallas College Police Department, arrested 27-year-old Caleb Ian Carter on Wednesday around 9:15 a.m. at Dallas College's Brookhaven Campus in Farmer's Branch. He was later booked into the Dallas County Jail.
According to police, the incident occurred in Round Rock while Carter was employed as an orchestra teacher at Round Rock High School between 2022 and May 2025. The alleged victim was a student, and the incident occurred off campus, police said.
