An Austin-based law firm is seeking $10 million in damages from the city and county of Denver on behalf of passengers aboard a Frontier Airlines flight involved in a fatal runway incident at Denver International Airport on May 8. Frontier Airlines Flight 4345 struck and killed a pedestrian, identified as Michael Mott, during takeoff. The death was ruled a suicide. DJC Law, representing several passengers, and Ramos Law claim passengers suffered traumatic physical and psychological effects from the incident. The firms allege failures in the design, maintenance, monitoring, and operation of airport security systems and failures to alert air traffic controllers and suspend runway operations after the breach.
