The Texas Department of Public Safety announced that a top 10 most wanted sex offender, Kit Edward Lulow, was taken into custody earlier this month. Lulow fled Texas after posting bond on firearm and child pornography charges and was captured in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico. The arrest was coordinated by the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force, and Lulow was turned over to the Texas Rangers. Lulow was previously convicted of rape, sexual abuse, and sodomy involving a 13-year-old girl in Oregon in 2008. For more information, visit the Texas Department of Public Safety website.
