Yelp has released its list of the 100 best barbecue restaurants in the U.S., based largely on feedback from its Elite Squad. Austin landed four spots on the list: Franklin Barbecue at No. 6, Interstellar BBQ at No. 21, KG BBQ at No. 52, and La Barbecue at No. 64. Franklin Barbecue, which also earned a Bib Gourmand from Michelin in 2024, was praised for its “premium, naturally raised meats.” Interstellar BBQ, led by chef John Bates, is known for its inventive approach to balancing flavors and earned a Michelin star in 2024. KG BBQ, led by chef Kareem El-Ghayesh, is known for its Egyptian spin on Texas barbecue. La Barbecue, known for its peppery bark, earned a Michelin star in 2024.
